In order to protect our customers, surfaces are wiped down frequently. and our staff and volunteers wear masks when interacting with the public. We ask that our visitors please wear masks and please stay 6 feet away from other groups. See below for instructions on meeting the animal.
DOGS AND CATS WITH DEPOSITS
If you are interested in a specific dog or cat and want to have first chance at adopting you can place a $25 non-refundable adoption deposit. You will be the only one able to adopt that animal during the first hour we are open that day. The deposit is for the first time we do adoptions after we receive your deposit. You must decide during that hour. Your deposit is not applied to the adoption fee. Every adoption deposit we receive allows us to take an unfixed animal from a high kill shelter and helps us get them fixed.
Please note that on rare occasions the shelter does not send us an animal we are expecting. If that happens we will let you know as soon as we find out and refund your deposit.
BROWSING AVAILABLE ANIMALS
If you would like to meet a specific dog and do not feel comfortable coming into the adoption center, we will be happy to bring the dog out to the parking lot. We cannot bring cats outside the building for meets. Only one family group is allowed in the cat room at a time.
