Straight Home
We designed the Straight Home program to get difficult to adopt animals out of shelters and into loving homes. Most of the animals in our Straight Home program have been at the shelters for a long time, are old, are not doing well at the shelter - usually scared, or have a physical handicap. These animals are in danger of being euthanized.
We post all the information we have on the pet. We usually don't know if they are house trained. If they are not we can give you pointers. They are almost always fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. If you choose to adopt from this list you will need to pay the $50 (dogs) $30 (cats) adoption fee before we request the animal from the shelter. The adoption fee for these animals is non-refundable but if you choose not to take the animal or need to return it to us we can give you a tax receipt for you donation toward their care.
It may take up to two weeks to get the pet to you. New Hope Rescue reserves the right to stop the adoption and give a full refund if we do not feel that the animal is a good fit for your home or if there are other problems and we are not able to obtain the animal.
